The test plots went so well, that I got so confident to just jump into it and go ahead with a full A5 sized plot. The image here kind of gives you an idea of what's about to happen.

How do you make a plotter paint, you ask? Well, you draw a line or circle where water or paint pot is. Or the little piece of cloth. That's it really.

On the left you can see the strokes numbered with the order in which they'll be painted. The idea here was to start from the outside columns, alternating between the left and right side. And by the nature of the process, these paints would mix and form a natural gradient blending together in the middle.
